Central Bardon Conference Venue and Guest Lodges is a unique and multi-faceted retreat tailored to provide for residential conferences and events. Situated only 6 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD this award winning venue offers 7 acres of landscaped gardens surrounded by native Australian bushland. Extensive outdoor areas provide opportunities for experiential learning programs, and help create an environment beneficial to residential programs and team building activities. Additional recreational experiences are also provided by the bordering National Forest Parklands.
Central Bardon is home to twenty-two individual purpose built meeting, conference and banquet rooms ranging in size and features. The Amphitheatre presents 351m² of tiered seating for up to 320 delegates. Each individual meeting room offers a variety of unique features including adjacent breakout rooms, oversized whiteboards and built-in extendable room dividers. We provide the unique opportunity of using surrounding gardens and lawns to serve refreshments and cater to breaks. All rooms boast magnificent views of sweeping lawns and native Australian forest gardens
The Venue offers 77 accommodation Guest Lodges finished in natural oak furnishings. We offer 3.5 star rated guest rooms that have been designed to complement the landscape and surrounding environment. Recreational facilities are provided on-site including a 20m salt water swimming pool, heated garden spa, gymnasium, volleyball and bocce lawns and bushwalking tracks.

Central Bardon offers “The Natural Choice” in conference venues. The relaxed bush setting provides clients with a unique learning environment inducive to study. The centre offers 22 individual conference rooms all with natural lighting and an extensive range of audio visual equipment. The centre also provides free car parking, a courtesy bus and retreat style accommodation setting all in a rustic atmosphere.
Separated into three lodges the guest rooms feature cottage style comfort finished in natural oak with the addition of common kitchens, dens with fireplaces and mezzanine level complimentary boardrooms. Each guest room boasts picturesque views of native gums and bushland forest.
Our period themed saloon bar/games room is the perfect rustic setting for a game of pool, backgammon or darts. At night the bar features an outdoor terrace dotted with flickering hurricane lanterns. A life size Ned Kelly and authentic nineteenth century theming provides an enjoyable setting to unwind or play up.
The natural flora and fauna present a unique opportunity to greet nature while only 6 kilometres from the city centre. Our guests enjoy impromptu visits from butcherbirds, lorikeets, galas, rosellas, kookaburras, native ducks and sulpher-crested cockatoos. The local wildlife offers a unique experience to city dwellers with regular visits from our resident frilly neck lizard (affectionately known as Larry), possums and wallabies.
